INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

March 8, 2023, International women’s day was celebrated at our office today to show support for the women in workplace and promote gender equality. “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality,” highlights the role of innovative technology in promoting gender equality and meeting the health and developmental needs of women. #EmbraceEquity.

A total strength of 60 plus women employees participated in the event. Ms. V. Dhanamani, multifaceted person, a Pattimandram Naduvar and a Spiritual Orator was the Chief Guest for this event. She spoke broadly about women empowerment in the modern world and highlighted few point on what you think is a women freedom and how that can be amended?

Ms. Vidhya Senthilkumar, Director – Branding & CSR activities; Mr. D. Vengadesh, Joint Managing Director; Mr. R. Ragavan, CEO, Opel; Mr. N. Raju, VP – CHRl; Dr. Ramachandra G M, Chief Operating Officer; Mr. Neeraj Kumar Singh, President – Business Development and Mr. Kanagaraj, OPEL – Deputy General Manager – CHR were present in the event.

Various indoor and outdoor games focusing on team building and coordination were conducted and the winners were rewarded by the management. Speaking about the event, Ms. Vidhya Senthilkumar, Director – Branding and CSR spoke about “the future corporate social responsibility projects in Propel for the enrichment of women children’s in all the self-help groups”.

The cake cutting event and a group photo session was a fitting finale to the celebrations and all the women employees were treated with high tea and yummy snacks also a small memorable return gifts were given to all women employees as a takeaway from the event.
