Propel in foreign soil – Nepal
Inside-Out | April 13, 2021
Our growth in 11 years has been phenomenal and we have been able to erect our plants in 14 countries. We supplied and commissioned the first plant of 200 TPH 2 stage crushing, screening & washing combination to M/s. Jaldevi Stones Pvt Ltd, Nepal for commercial use in year 2017-18.
It was delivered to Jaldevi Stone Pvt Limited through Batas Tractors Pvt Limited, our authorized dealers. The plant is located at Sipaghat, Kavrepalanchowk which is 56 kilometres from the Kathmandu valley.
Sipaghat is a riverbed mining zone. Jaldevi stones and Propel Industries decided to join hands to set up the plant. We studied the application and recommended a suitable plant combination. The terrain posed a huge challenge to the transportation of the equipment. We also had technical hiccups during the commissioning of the plant. With the able support of Batas Tractors, we were able to overcome the challenges.
Following the successful run of the plant, Mr. Bikash Shrestha, Director of Jaldevi group, placed an order for a vertical shaft impactor and the same is under commissioning.
Within a short span of time, we have become a preferred brand in Nepal. We have completed eight installations in 2020. There is a continuous flow of orders and very soon, we aim to hit the number one slot in Nepal.
“Propel’s technical and aftermarket support is good. We are happy with the Propel plant,” said Mr. Bikash Shrestha, director, Jaldevi Stone Pvt Ltd.
The successful operation of our plant there has worked to our favour so much so that it has become a model plant for prospective buyers.
“We signed a dealership agreement with Propel in the year 2018 with no knowledge about the crushing Industry. We thank Propel Industries for their knowledge sharing and support,” said Mr. Shanta Batas, Managing Director, BATAS Corporation.
Propel has develop the solution for sand mining in Nepal based on the demand from customers. We are zooming towards becoming market leaders in Nepal!
